The Details of the Day

We’ve collected all the necessary information here for the ease of your experience, and ours. Please read these details carefully.

Overview

We’ve decided to frame this gathering as a Festival of Love to allow more space for our dear friends and family to come together. Connecting our communities and celebrating the love that exists within, between and around us all.

Our ceremony will begin at 2pm, located in the beautiful gardens at 298 Whitemans Valley Road, Upper Hutt.

After the ceremony, dinner and reception, we’ll then take a short drive down the road, to 528 Whitemans Valley Rd where we’ll have our second phase of the gathering.

Our Requests

  • Kids and babies welcome: Many of our close friends have little ones, so we welcome you to bring your crew. However, please be mindful of how their behaviour impacts the space and act accordingly. We’ll have child-friendly spaces and activities available.

  • Radical Responsibility: Please do your best to manage your own needs for travel, accomodation, etc. See below for more information to figure out your flow.

  • Contribute To The Day: We welcome all of our wonderful friends to make a contribution to our day. If there’s something specific you’d like to offer/supply/give for the weekend, please let us know.

  • Gifts: Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! However, if you wish to bless us with a gift, a contribution toward our future together would be truly appreciated. Here’s some information on how to do this.

  • Alcohol policy: We won’t be serving alcohol - it’s not really our vibe. If you’d like to drink, we welcome you to bring your own. We’ll have a space to keep it cool. If you do choose to drink, please be mindful of how much you consume - we’d like to avoid antisocial drunk behaviour as much as possible :)
